ARDESUN was born in the Southern Ardèche region of France, in a corner where summer is spent outdoors—on trails, by rivers, or on a terrace that catches the sun until evening. Behind the brand is Kaolin And Co, a laboratory located in Les Vans, which has been producing natural skincare products since 2019. The idea behind ARDESUN was simple: sun and mosquito protection that you'll actually want to bring with you.
Before ARDESUN, there was Kaolin And Co A craft laboratory founded around everyday solid products—shampoos, deodorants, toothpastes—with short formulas and packaging designed for essentials.
This is where it was born Ardeche Soap, a range of natural skincare products made with fresh, organic goat's milk, rooted in the Ardèche region. And it's this same logic—useful, legible, made here—that guided the creation of’Ardesun : protection designed for those who spend time outdoors, without giving up what they put on their skin.
In the Ardèche region, summer days are long and often very exposed. You go from the trail to the river, from the riverside to the evening terrace—and you need products you can slip into a bag without a second thought.
It is this very concrete context that gave birth to ARDESUN. Two complementary products, easy to use, with formulas that can be read on the label and manufacturing that stays in Ardèche.

ARDESUN did not come out of nowhere. It builds on expertise developed over several years: first solid everyday products, then a complete range of natural goat's milk skincare, and now protection designed for active days in the sun and in nature.

Kaolin And Co Launched in 2019 with everyday products: solid shampoos, deodorants, toothpastes. Short formulas, reduced packaging — and the desire to make useful things rather than superfluous ones.

In 2022, the lab launched Ardeche Soap Soaps, shower gels, face lotions and creams, all formulated with fresh, organic goat's milk. A range that establishes real expertise in natural skincare, and that remains manufactured in the South of Ardèche.

Ardesun logically follow: sunscreen and mosquito repellent stick for all days spent outdoors – on vacation, hiking, by the water, or simply in the garden when it's hot.
We could have launched a range of ten products. We preferred to launch only two, and do them well.
An organic certified SPF 50 mineral sunscreen, and a DEET-free mosquito repellent stick. Products that fit in a pocket, can be applied without getting your hands dirty, and withstand the heat. Nothing superfluous — just what you need to have a good day outside without having to think about it.
An organic certified face and body protection, with a mineral filter based on non-nano zinc oxide. Fragrance-free, endocrine disruptor-free — and no plastic film effect on the skin.
An organic-certified mosquito repellent stick with plant-based active ingredients. You can apply it directly where you want, with no chemical odor, no runny liquid, and no mess.
